Also, just for info: my 3090 was perfectly stable at 1800MHz@850mV but after started playing games with Ray Tracing like Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition and Control I learned that my 3090 wasn't stable at all. This is rock stable and knocks about 70W power and 5C temp off stock settings, as well as giving me about 75MHz increase in core GPU speed, so a win all round. Damn thing still whines like a jet engine though. sasume It's easy! Overclock values for Nvidia RTX 3060 are only a reference . Does it matter where you start from, like how much you bring the slider down before selecting your mV/freq? The problem is the stock vbios don't let you go that high, I mining at 2000 is fine. In order to make all of this a bit more interesting, the Gigabyte and the Asus card compete against each other in undervolting this time, and that in each case representatively in variant 1 lower the power limit and simultaneously overclock and variant 2 fixed voltage and clock. I have been able to complete full benchmarks runs in Heaven but when I stress test using the Time Spy Stress Test, the test will fail because of too many frame drops. Looks like the Tuf version of the card is clocking pretty well though. It is on tpu, and it works fine on strix only problem is that one hdmi port is not working. Apply the curve using the apply button on the main afterburner window. Though it might not be the most economical option in the world when taking into consideration the enormous TDP of the card. I do, however, want to hit +99% in framerate stability. Neo Forza Faye DDR4-4600MHz 32GB (2x16GB). Ive tried everything I can and you mentioned, and not had any issues (touch wood). You will not achieve this by lowering the power limit or only with very bad values. The idea is to put as much load on the card as possible. If you really are able to run 2000MHz at only 0.7mV in heavy 3D workloads, while also using only 50 watts. It also has a higher base clock speed, which means it can mine faster. I second new paste. I changed from the TUF OC to the STRIX OC. Unfortunately my GPU just isn't stable at 800mV near the 1800MHz core clocks, especially not when RT cores are used at the same time. It made overclocking a piece of cake without the inherent base activity. See All Buying Options Only on GeForce RTX Yeah you gotta flatten the curve really early otherwise it does weird things. The RTX 3090 is better if you need the extra VRAM for 4K gaming or other high-resolution applications. By Also the load peaks with such settings are quite unattractive. You're welcome My 3090 can't do that, and it's a shame, because Optimum Tech reports his 3090 draws 71 watt less at 1800MHz using 806mV and that'spretty good. They feature dedicated 2nd gen RT Cores and 3rd gen Tensor Cores, streaming multiprocessors, and a staggering 24 GB of G6X memory to deliver high-quality performance for gamers and creators. Summarized here again: 1750Mhz in the Curve-Editor result in real 1785Mhz after the heating phase (think of the offset I already described by the P-States!) Im getting like average 80Mh/s with different settings like 75-100% Power limit. So my settings was 1815MHz @850mV, with 137% powerlimit. But still, 1791 wasn't even stable on ~820mV. I would like to achieve lower temperatures so I don't have to put up with this loud noise until I install the custom loop. Fan speed is set to 74, 1583rpm for all benchmarks. The problem I am having is the fans are particularly loud - when the core is running at 83C which is the hard limit set on the card, the fans are running at 100% which equates to 4000RPM so it sounds like a jet engine. After the initial disappointment, it seems that the FTW3, at this lower noise levels, is just as fine as the TUF, but it has better RAM cooling and more room to stretch its legs if I would care less about fan noise or ever put it under a water block. Can anyone please help. I've had to go with 1900 @ 850 with this CPU. The RTX 3090 Ti provides 66 Mh/s hashrate on RVN with a power consumption of 446 watts. Also, if your undervolt settings is just enough unstable to drop a frame or two in total under the full run, that could lower the score aswell of course.
